A Jury Trial Verdict, in Somerset County Superior Court, in favor of one of my clients on Wednesday, 5 February 2020 (which I can reveal without violating Attorney – Client Privilege because it was public !). While mostly representing individuals, this time it was for an Employer, Old Man Rafferty’s Restaurant. There is nothing a Plaintiff’s employment lawyer likes less than frivolous litigation. Congratulations to all on this victory!

Mr. Cige is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and before The United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, The United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and The United States Supreme Court.

He is a past President of the Somerset County Bar Association and Somerset County Bar Foundation, and a founding member of the General Practice Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Co-Chaired the Disability Discrimination Committee of the Associations’ Labor and Employment Law Section for many years. 

Mr. Cige is a past Chair of the District XIII Fee Arbitration Committee, is Past Vice-Chair and current member of the District XIII Ethics Committee. Has served as an R. 1:40 statewide Mediator and Superior Court designated Arbitrator. 

He has had several reported cases and significant verdicts. He frequently lectures before professional organizations. 
Mr. Cige received his B.A. in Political Science with minors in Economics, Philosophy and Public Administration, cum Laude, from Montclair State University. 

He studied International Law at Tel Aviv University in Israel and earned his J.D. from Temple University School of Law where he was President of the Barristers’ Society and received the Victor S. Jaczun Memorial Foundation Award for excellence in trial advocacy and selected for the 2018 Best of Somerville Award in the Legal Services category.
